Going Country
It's not hard to see why I would want to leave a city I've lived in for 45 years. Life in Hastings might be a bit slower than NYC, but I notice beautiful moments like this more than I ever would have in Manhattan.

Moon Madness
You have to wonder what people thought of when they looked at the moon before electricity. Sure, you could go outside in the light of a full moon, but would you choose to? Considering that the moon cast a pale silver light on everything it touched must have altered the way objects were perceived. Mysterious and just a little scary. Perfect.
A day like no other...August 2013
I am never prepared for moments when you look up and see a canvas already covered in nature's art. What I was grateful for is being able to just aim and capture it. What amazed me was that the colors I saw with my eye were transferred accurately through the cellphone camera lens (iPhone 4, then) - unfiltered photo.
